A wise man travelled from a distant land.

To set up base in a special new place.

To kindle a light of great spiritual delight.

Like moths to a flame,

The open-hearted came.

To soothe the waters of their troubled domain.

To bask in the cooling spiritual flame.

As time steadily weaves its way on.

The avatar dances and fans the flame.

Spreading his salve across the heart

Where the flame remains

So we take time to sit on the rock.

To let the mind come gently to a stop.

Let the spirit flow to the place deep inside.

To engage in that very special sacred rite.

Search for the flame for you know it by name.

Burnish it gently so as to connect with the avatar.

His flame is always there.

Shining like a blazing star.
